Job: Maintenance Technician Full Time

Pay: Hourly $20-$27 (Varies with skill and experience)

Overview: We are currently seeking a Maintenance Tech to join our maintenance team in assisting and ensuring the smooth operation of our multiple manufacturing plants, ancillary buildings, company vehicles, and all other company properties. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic and a willingness to learn and grow in the field of maintenance. As a Maintenance Tech, you will support the maintenance staff in performing various tasks such as repairing equipment, conducting routine inspections, and assisting with general maintenance duties.

Responsibilities:

• Assist the maintenance team in performing repairs and maintenance tasks on equipment, machinery, and facilities.
• Conduct routine inspections to identify any issues or potential hazards and report them to the maintenance supervisor.
• Carry out preventive maintenance tasks, such as lubricating machinery or changing filters, as directed.
• Assist with general maintenance duties, including painting, cleaning, and organizing tools and equipment.
• Help in troubleshooting equipment malfunctions and make minor adjustments or repairs as needed.
• Collaborate with the maintenance team to prioritize and complete work orders in a timely manner.
• Follow safety guidelines and ensure a safe working environment at all times.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a maintenance or similar role is preferred but not required.
• Basic knowledge of maintenance and repair techniques for equipment, machinery, and facilities.
• Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects and perform manual tasks as required.
• Detail-oriented with good problem-solving skills.
• A proactive attitude and the ability to take initiative in completing tasks.
